Gary Rhodes is one of Britain's best-loved chefs. He has appeared regularly on television and is the author of sixteen books, including the highly acclaimed New British Classics. He has been awarded several prestigious awards for his services to the catering industry, including a Fellowship of the City and Guilds of London Institute in recognition of his outstanding personal and professional achievements and an Honorary Professorship from Thames Valley University. In 2005 he picked up a new Michelin star for his restaurant, Rhodes Twenty Four, in the City of London - this is the fifth star he has been awarded in his distinguished career. He also has restaurants in Marble Arch, Grenada and on board a luxury cruise liner that is sailing around the world. He lives in Kent with his wife and two sons.
