"The Wind in the Willows" Illustrated by Michael Foreman
Kenneth Grahame (1859 - 1932) was born in Edinburgh, the son of a lawyer, but was brought up by his Grandmother in Cookham Dene, in Berkshire.
He later worked at the Bank of England and, while pursuing his career there, he wrote occasional poems, essays and sketches.
His masterpiece, The Wind in the Willows, was published in 1908.
Once again, Michael Foreman, one of the world's leading illustrators of children's books has worked his charm with this newly illustrated version of an old favourite.
